  • A diverse variety of innovative and desirable homes for a new thriving community in London’s Olympic Park. Located on the first of the Olympic legacy sites, Chobham Manor, in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, will provide over 800 homes modelled on London’s traditional family neighbourhoods of terraced and mews houses, set within tree-lined avenues.

    Working collaboratively with Make on the second phase of the project, PRP is leading a diverse design team in co-ordinating the masterplan delivery and remains involved throughout the construction. Three quarters of new homes in Phase 2 have three-bedrooms or more, and there is a range of typologies that offer choice to families and cater for different lifestyles including a new-style four-bedroom townhouse.

  • Chobham Manor is the first of five neighbourhoods to be developed on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, east London. Situated between the Velodrome and the East Village it will provide over 800 dwellings in a mixed-use masterplan.

    With five principal types of housing planned – townhouses, mews homes, maisonettes, mansion blocks and apartments, the project was not designed in isolation. Working collaboratively with Make and Muf Architecture/Art, PRP developed the outline masterplan and key strategies for the architectural and public realm design of each of the three phases of the development. This is a family focused community where everyone lives ‘by the Green’. The cohesive and sustainable masterplan responds to its immediate context and the Olympic legacy park to support the social, economic and environmental regeneration of neighbouring communities.

  • Situated between the Velodrome and East Village, with over 800 dwellings, mixed use commercial and community facilities. Three innovatively designed and interconnected greens form a spine at the heart of the masterplan. The three greens and the public realm are rich in planting, have many invitations to play with places to sit distributed throughout the public realm. The network of tree-lined streets form a hierarchy of streets and spaces for the overall scheme which link with the surrounding urban fabric. Ecologically beneficial to the area with the green roofs, the streets and the greens all high in biodiversity and incorporating many SUDS features.

  • All homes at Chobham Manor are being built to the Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4 with an additional 26 exemplar homes; built to CSH Level 5 being delivered during the first two phases. These homes will achieve Zero Carbon standards through onsite measures alone. PRP provided a full range of environmental and sustainability consultancy services to ensure that the development achieved high standards of quality and met these aspirational targets.
