PRP

Located on the site of the old Huntley & Palmers Biscuit factory next to the river Kennet in Reading, Kenavon Drive creates a new residential quarter that pays homage to the site’s Victorian heritage. A variety of traditional brick techniques and historically inspired abstractions have been applied to create a distinctive architectural language, with saw-tooth roof forms referencing the original industrial buildings.

The mixed tenure scheme offers over 700 new homes, comprising a mix of apartments, bespoke 'loft style' living penthouses, ground floor houses and duplexes, as well as two new squares, a linear park, café, restaurant, convenience store and flexible employment spaces.
