  • Lewisham Gateway is a prominent development site at the heart of Lewisham, where the DLR, mainline and bus stations conjoin. The project is a high-density mixed-use development comprising retail, leisure, office and residential and reconfiguring the infrastructure and road layouts.

    The first phase of the development, which has been designed by PRP, comprises two towers of 22 and 15 storeys that provide 195 new homes for private sale and private rent plus numerous retail units.

    The landscape design celebrates the confluence of the Quaggy and Ravensborne Rivers, a key feature of the site, by creating a new public park at their meeting point.

  • A mixed use residential development centred around a new public square and riverside park that reveals the hidden rivers Quaggy and Ravensbourne. New green structure is created that includes formal tree lines, semi natural parkland and naturalist waterside planting. Art is woven into the fabric of the landscape in the form of wall reliefs, acoustic features, echoing the river to the square above and sculptural pavilion buildings.

  • PRP completed the Technical Design for Phase 1 in 2015. Detailing includes large format GRC cladding and a range of perimeter inset details for window assemblies to articulate the fa├žade.

  • The Architectural and Engineering Technical Design was completed using BIM.
