Altered Estates: How to reconcile competing interests in estate regeneration

By PRP – 27 May 2016

A new report by the four housing architects; PRP, Levitt Bernstein, HTA Design and Pollard Thomas Edwards, was launched yesterday at the Housing Forum National Conference.

In response to the renewed political focus on estate regeneration, this report contains a distillation of our combined experience into a series of recommendations on how best to meet the challenges of estate regeneration today.

The report features a set of case studies showing successful outcomes of estate regeneration, including PRP's Maiden Lane for LB Camden, Oval Quarter in Lambeth for Higgins and Regenter and the Crossways Estate for Swan and Countryside Properties.

"I would strongly encourage anyone who is involved in regeneration to read this report. We may make new mistakes in the future but there is no need to carry on repeating the old ones."
Lord Kerslake
