Funtastic Cities brought to life for Archikids 2017

By PRP – 28 July 2017

PRP invited young, budding architects to bring their vision of an open city to life in a ‘Funtastic City’ workshop as part of Archikids 2017, Open-City’s family festival of architecture.

Organised around four creative sections ('Imagine', 'Build', 'Decorate', 'Animate and Present'), the activity encouraged children to see the city as a place of imagination, interaction and fun.

Many families braved the rain, wind and cold on the day, to join in and create a diverse collection of Funtastic Cities, featuring scooters, rollercoasters, tunnels, underground labyrinths and much more.

PRP's event was held at Broadgate, one of four 'Festival Hubs' across City of London’s Square Mile. This year's Archikids 2017 took place on 22 and 23rd July.
