Planning success for Newhall Sector V Site

By PRP – 8 July 2020

Newhall Projects Ltd commissioned PRP, together with the design team, to assist them in the planning application of 49 houses for the Sector V Site. Newhall is a new neighbourhood within Harlow, built on land originally forming part of a local farm. The sites fall within a new masterplan area surrounded by Woodlands.

Our concept was to create developments with their own distinct identity, and an open and welcoming environment for all. The proposals provide a range of tenure blind houses that reflect a contemporary approach to traditional building forms and have been developed in response to the design code to create a coordinated and sympathetic approach that will complement the surrounding existing development.

The buildings reflect an informal vernacular style of architecture that reflects some of the detailing and forms of historic barn buildings seen in Harlow.

We are delighted to announce that the application received planning approval and will bring value to Newhall and the whole community.
