Clapham Park regeneration gets final go-ahead
PRP is excited to announce that the Section 106 at Clapham Park has now been signed and we have received our decision notice granting permission to deliver 2,532 new homes, of which a minimum of 46% will be affordable tenure. Commercial, community and office space, highway and infrastructure improvements, extensive public realm and landscaping, an energy centre and district heating system will also be delivered over the next 15 years.
Under the Section 106 over £14m of contributions will fund infrastructure upgrades and investment in services, skills, employment and training initiatives.
The granting of detailed planning permission is a major milestone for the project; it brings to a conclusion over 2 ½ years of detailed S106 and planning negotiations with Lambeth Council and GLA on what is considered to be the largest full detailed planning application of its kind in the UK.
The first site of the masterplan will commence in early 2020.
