PRP contributes to The Housing Design Handbook
Bringing together a wealth of experience from a wide range of experts, a completely revised second edition of The Housing Design Handbook, written by David Levitt and Jo McCafferty, has been launched.
The book provides a comprehensive guide to best practice, setting out design principles and key components of successful housing design. Key topics include; placemaking, typologies and density, internal and external space, privacy, security, tenure and community engagement.
As leaders in the field of later living design, PRP is delighted to have been part of the guide, contributing a valuable chapter on Housing for an Aging Population, written by Clare Cameron. Case studies and images of PRP schemes have also been included, supporting specific chapters and showcasing PRP's breadth of experience in architectural design across the entire housing sector.
