PRP featured in new RIBA publication on age-friendly housing

By PRP – 9 August 2018

Launched in July, RIBA's new publication called 'Age-Friendly Housing' explores future design for older people.

Focusing on anticipating the needs and aspirations of the next generation, the book touches on what this implies for our communities, towns and cities, as well as living spaces - illustrating the links between housing, health and social care.

Willow Barns, PRP's award winning development of 75 apartments, all for affordable rent in an extra care setting, is included as a feature case study within the book. In addition to this, eleven of the illustrative photos are of PRP schemes, these include: Highwood Mills in Horsham, St Bede's in Bedford, Pilgrim Gardens in Evington, Windmill Court in Chingford, and Halton Court in Kidbrooke.
