PRP wins Best Design at the National Housing Awards 2016
Last Thursday, PRP's recently completed Park Heights scheme for Network Homes was honoured with the Best Design accolade at the National Housing Awards.
Park Heights is the flagship building in Network Homes’ ongoing transformation of the Stockwell Park Estate. Replacing a dated and poorly maintained 1960s block, the landmark scheme re-houses all the existing residents in a new, tenure-blind, state-of-the-art building, which offers breath-taking views across London.
The judges described Park Heights as 'a very impressive building that provides affordability for local residents and luxury within a landmark building. An elegant, high-quality, high-density scheme that is far too rare in London.'
Arden Quarter, Orbit Homes' redevelopment of a historic cattle market in Stratford-upon-Avon, was Highly Commended for Best Scheme in Planning. The mixed-tenure housing scheme features general needs and extra care apartments, with community facilities and retail.
