UKGBC Health and Well-being in Homes

By Marylis Ramos – 10 February 2016

PRP has been working with the UK Green Building Council to support their Better Places for People: Health and Well-being in Homes project.

This project is aimed at gathering evidence and guidance on the links between the built environment and tangible health and well-being outcomes, in order to increase awareness within the industry and promote the agenda for healthy homes that support the physical, mental and social well-being of its residents.

Marylis Ramos, Associate Director with the Sustainability team, chairs the metrics workstream of this working group, which comprises UKGBC members with expertise and interest in the topic. The report will include high-level guidance and metrics for health and well-being as well as evidence on the value of these measures for various key stakeholders. The project is due to be launched in July 2017.
