People Roumpini Perakaki

Roumpini is an urban designer and masterplanner specialising in the design and assessment of the built environment. Since joining PRP in 2014 she has worked on a wide range of projects of various scales and gained extensive experience in the fields of masterplanning and urban design with a main focus on large scale urban regeneration schemes.

She has been leading in numerous projects, from feasibility studies and options appraisals to outline planning applications, design codes and in the development of stakeholder, and community engagement strategies. Her interest and area of expertise is placemaking and she is committed to implementing placemaking strategies in delivering inclusive and intergenerational masterplans.

Roumpini has a passion for academic research, she is currently a PhD candidate investigating models of future smart resilient cities via sensory mapping and she is also contributing to conferences, presenting papers in relation to the social, economic and environmental benefits of public spaces.
