This is the second phase of the Stretford Road development, and overall is linked to the successful delivery of the wider Old Trafford masterplan. The layout, running parallel with Stretford Road, was largely dictated by the desire to retain the mature trees to the street
frontage, and to avoid an easement attached to a culvert running under a site corner.
The building form takes its cues of simple detailing, scale, and materials from a previous phase of development situated on the opposite side of the road. Prominence is given to the entrances which are strongly expressed three storey slots creating views into and out of the circulation spaces and giving access from both the road side and the secure parking located at the rear.
The development meets both Lifetime Home Standards and Code 4 for sustainable homes.
