ETI Consumer Research and Behaviour - Research Study

Energy Technologies Institute (ETI)
PRP Studio

PRP led a multi-disciplinary consortium of academic and industry experts working on the 2-year complex Consumer Response and Behaviour Project for the Energy Technologies Institute (ETI). The study combined a broad programme of social research (both qualitative and quantitative), modelling and concept development into customers' heating and cooling needs and behaviours, supported by state-of-the-art monitoring equipment and user-focused design as well as a thorough review of secondary literature sources.

PRP provided strategic and technical advice across all elements of this major research project, which lays the groundwork for the next phase of the ETI's Smart Systems and Heat programme that aims to be a blueprint for meeting the UK's 2050 carbon targets.
