Gary joined PRP in 2016 and promoted to associate in April 2018. He coordinates the delivery of construction design and management (CDM) services. This includes performing the principal designer duties across the company. He represents PRP at the Designers Initiative On Health and Safety (DIOHAS) is a PhD candidate and provides lectures to architectural, engineering and construction management graduate and undergraduate students..

Prior to joining PRP, Gary worked as a health and safety consultant and CDM coordinator, leading a safety and compliance team to advise on project and occupational safety, corporate risk management. Gary’s early career in the British Army serves him well in health and safety matters. Gary achieved the rank of Warrant Officer. Appointed at Regimental and Brigade headquarters, before secondment as an advisor to the Foreign Office delivering the UK’s Building Stability Overseas policy.

Gary is currently a doctoral candidate at the University of West London. With the School of Computing and Engineering he is specifically researching the unseen economic benefit of good health and safety by design. His specific field of research follows his interest as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Public Health.
