Oval Quarter is the regeneration of the former Myatts Field estate in Lambeth, involving the refurbishment of existing residential properties, substantial new homes being built, as well as a community centre. The landscape design and public realm helped integrate the estate into the surrounding city, with new streets and routes incorporating incidental play, as well as the creation of a new park linking to the community centre and creating a focal point for the estate. Extensive consultation with residents and stakeholders played a key part of the design process.
