New Little Mill is a Grade II Listed building in Ancoats on the edge of Manchester City Centre. It was formerly part of the Murrays' Mills complex which at the turn of the 19th Century was one of the largest cotton-spinning complexes in the world, however, despite its rich history the mill had been vacant for over 30 years and fallen into disrepair.

Our re-design, developed in response to the building’s wider historical context saw the sensitive repair and refurbishment of the retained existing facade and the complete replacement of the failing internal superstructure. A contemporary two-storey rooftop extension to the existing five-storey building accommodates a mix of two and three-bed duplex apartments, with roof terraces and winter gardens whist the floors within the existing building house spacious one and two bedroom apartments arranged around a top-lit central courtyard.
