Kenavon Drive is on the site of the old Huntley & Palmers biscuit factory next to the river Kennet in Reading. A new residential quarter that pays homage to the site's Victorian heritage has been created along with a variety of public realm and landscaped spaces. A key feature of the landscape is a central linear shared garden providing seating and play opportunities. A carefully structured planting stretch defines the character of the green street.

The central linear space culminates into an exciting new riverside square, revitalised to become a new destination for the whole city for events, performances and recreation. An overall greener space is created that benefits wildlife, bringing people and nature together. The overall masterplan creates a place that is well connected for pedestrians and cyclists to access the city centre, nearby parks and riverside walk. Significant amenity space is created by podium gardens on the blocks containing private communal spaces for all residents to use.
